Anyone lucky enough to get out into the countryside to watch the delta meteor shower last week, will have been quite impressed. We were counting a spectacular shooting star every five to ten minutes on one particular night. Every meteor was different, some burnt out green, some had long trails others were very fast and disappeared quick. It was well worth heading to hills for. There is another chance to see a meteor spectacle peaking on 11 & 12 August, Perseid meteors, (should be lots of activity some nights leading up to the peak time). It should be a beautiful display especially in the early hours after the moon has set.
Its another smaller edition due to the warm summer temperatures and outdoor activities, but made up a bit by the wonderful quality in this months Gallery. All the best to you all & thank you for looking at earth-spirit.net.
Have a great holiday August
